This series of images I have titled “submerged” documented the feeling of depression and being overwhelmed by feelings. With the support of my interview participants I feel I have effectively captured this narrative, the feedback from these images have been extremely positive. Capturing these images was difficult and moving, i find the colour contrast with the water extremely effective and influenced by the work of Andy Moxon as I have kept the images exactly the way I captured them on camera to share raw and real feeling. The purpose of this three images are to connect an audience with the person within the images and make them think about the feelings expressed.
