Day 3.
Achill Island in County Mayo is the largest island in the Country and is accessible from the mainland by bridge. The colourful landscapes of Achill have inspired both writers and artists alike and, despite the buzz of people who flock to this island every year, it can also be a place of retreat for anybody looking for peace and solitude. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! We spent hours hiking all around the island and visited the deserted village and Achill archaeology field school where my sister spent 2 weeks working a few years ago.
This place was so beautiful and a Landscape Photographers DREAM..
